Terms of Service

Modern Wall Systems acts as a construction manager and is not an employer of the craftsmen or contractors who perform work on your project. Our role is to oversee and coordinate the construction process, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure quality standards are met. All trade work is performed by independent contractors who are responsible for their own employees, labor practices, taxes, insurance, and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.​

Modern Wall Systems does not directly employ any craftsmen or subcontractors. Each contractor is engaged as an independent entity, and we do not supervise, control, or direct their day-to-day activities beyond the scope of project coordination and quality assurance. Nothing in our agreements create an employer-employee relationship between Modern Wall Systems and any craftsman, subcontractor, or their personnel.​

By engaging Modern Wall Systems as your construction manager, you acknowledge and agree that:

• We do not guarantee the performance or conduct of independent contractors.
• We are not liable for the acts or omissions of independent contractors unless such liability is expressly assumed under this agreement.
• All legal and financial obligations related to employment, insurance, and compliance rest solely with each independent contractor.

These terms are intended to clarify our role and responsibilities as construction managers and to ensure compliance with Virginia laws regarding construction management and contractor relationships.
