We hire full-time Journeymen and apprentice-level EIFS/Stucco/Stone workers. Bilingual is preferred but not required. We offer safe, educational training on the job and opportunities for advancement.

What is EIFS?

EIFS stands for Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems and is pronounced “eefus” and rhymes with “eephus.” According to the definitions of the International Building Code and ASTM International, an Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) is a non-load bearing, exterior wall cladding system that consists of an insulation board attached either adhesively or mechanically, or both, to the substrate; an integrally reinforced base coat; and a textured protective finish coat. EIFS offers continuous insulation by design, allowing architects the design flexibility and aesthetics they require while helping to meet new energy codes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

EIFS/Stucco/Stone

• -All Phases of Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems (EIFS)
• -All Phases of Direct Applied Finish Systems (DEFS)
• -Interior Gypsum Plastering
• -Exterior Cement Plaster and Stucco Systems.
• -Sprayed, Troweled, and Rolled Textures.
• -Erect and dismantle all forms of scaffolding and work platforms.
• -Installation of beads, trims, and flashings for interior and exterior applications.
• -Caulking, Firestopping, Smoke Sealants, and Sound Caulking.
• -Demo
• -Masking and Poly Protection
• -Temporary Walls, Protection, and Dust Control.
• -Rolled, Peel, and Stick, and Fluid Applied Weather Barrier Systems
• -Plaster – Stucco Lath and Bead Installation
• -Level 1 Drywall Finish
• -Sprayed Fireproofing
• Skills / Requirements
• -Ability to read and understand plans, drawings, and specs.
• -Current Valid Driver’s License
• -Ability to pass an E-Verify Check.
• -Ability to show up on time, every day, and ready to work.
• -Work safely, following all company rules and OSHA Regulations.
• -Strong Work Ethic.
• -Ability to run all forms of power tools.
• -Ability to operate Interior and Exterior scissor lifts, boom lifts, forklifts, and other job site equipment. (Training will be provided)
• -Provide and use your hand tools.
• -Drug-free and the ability to pass a pre-employment screening process.
